Fun Facts: Martin Scorsese had to convince the Osage Nation to help with the filming.

Martin Scorsese makes a appearance at the very end of the movie.

De Niro actually did spank DiCaprio with a real wooden paddle, but fortunally DiCaprio was wearing the buttocks pads.

The film was really shot in Fairfax, OK, the same town where the 1920s Osage Indian murders.

Summary: In the 1920s Oklahoma, the Indian tribe struck oil, but this somehow led to their murders by white people, believing it will take the tribes wealth.

The One Liner Review: Hollywood mastermind Scorsese found a way to make Oklahoma history come alive! By giving us an amazing Oscar worthy film with powerful performances and other things that can make sitting in the theater for three and the half hours more tolerable.
