Fun Facts: The crew couldn’t shoot the jet ski chase scenes in the Krabi reign of Thailand because it was illegal to jet ski in that area.

The opening scene in the prehistoric time came from the first Meg novel which the first film was adapted from.

Ben Wheatley loved the first film so he directed this sequel.

Summary: A group of researchers goes deeper into the undiscovered place of the sea, and accidently unleashes a bunch of monstrous sea creatures.

The One Liner Review: The plot pretty much mirrors the previous film and is pretty much predictable, now if you are in for a giant sea creatures in the third act, here you go!
