It took 80 hours to apply makeup on Stellan Skarsgard to transform him into Baron Vlaadimir Harkonnen

Composer Hans Zimmer invented new musical instruments to make the film score sound foreign.

There is little cgi in the movie as most effects are practical.

Summary: The son of the noble family has a vision of the girl in the desert planet of Arrakis, which is the same place he was sent to war.

The One Liner Review: Denis Villeneuve has carefully brought the long awaited film adaptation in theaters and IMAX and it worked! The all star cast and the beautiful visuals is why the film is pure Sci-Fi (think Star Wars and Game of Thrones combined).
