Fun Facts: The letters in the film are the same thing as the novel, although, the plot is quite different.

Gerard Butler later had to apologize to Irish fans in particular for his poor attempt at an Irish accent.

Even though the book was setting entirely in Ireland, parts of the film are set in New York City.

According to the Christmas 2006 issue of People magazine, Jeffrey Dean Morgan had to learn to play the guitar for his part in this film in a very short time. His guitar instructor was Nancy Wilson of the band Heart. Morgan was thrilled to take lessons from her, because, in his own words, “I had such a crush on her as a kid.”

Quote: “I know, that wherever I am, I’m missing you. Happy birthday! I love you!”- Gerry Kennedy

Summary: After her husband’s death, a widow starts receiving letters from him, telling her to start a new life.

The Review: Another not too good romantic film which Swanks and Butler’s characters are okay but it has a klutzy script and it totally lacks emotions.

Quote: “If you say one more word, I’ll feed you to my children! I’m kidding. We’re vegetarians.”- M’Baku

Fun Facts: Wesley Snipes wanted to play Black Panther in the 1990’s but despite having a completed script, the project never made it past the development phase and by the time they did, he is too old for a part.

Shuri cites the self-lacing shoes from the film, “Back to the Future II” as her inspiration for the footwear of the upgraded Black Panther costume.

The movie was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, and Busan, South Korea. The aerial shots of Wakanda are from South Africa, Zambia, Uganda, and even Argentina

The official language of Wakanda was derived from a real South African language, Xhosa

This is the first non-Disney film to gross over $100 million at the box office.

Rex Pester’s original name was going to be Scoop Hunter

This is the only time viewers get to see another Nickelodeon show, CatDog in theaters (It’s a short that plays before the film).

Summary: While trying to return his new baby brother to the hospital, Tommy Pickles and his friends get lost in the forest.

The Review: The film about babies may have babies in it but it sure has the same charm as the tv show itself, and it has a sweet moment between brothers.

Favorite Character: Harley Quinn

Quote: “All that chit chat’s gonna get ya hurt.”- The Joker

Fun Facts: Jared Leto completely stayed in character as the joker for most of the shoot, in fact, he sent strange gifts to his co-stars (rats, a dead hog, used condoms, etc).

Director David Ayer confirmed that Captain Boomerang (the one with the pink unicorn) is a brony (men who like My Little Pony).

Tom Hardy was originally casted as Rick Flag but dropped out to do the Revenant.

The baseball bat Harley Quinn used was given to filmmaker Kevin Smith, who is a huge fan of the character.

Summary: A team of supervillains was sent by the government on a mission to save the world from apocalypse.

The Review: The film was filled with lame plot and is totally anti-Deadpool that is at least better than Batman v. Superman, oh and Yay for Robbie’s Harley Quinn and Boo to Leto’s The Joker.

Quote: “If we do nothing, neither are we.”- Elisa Esposito (in sign language)

Fun Facts: The creature design was inspired by the Creature from the Black Lagoon.

While filming the scene where Michael Shannon drives to confront Sally Hawkins’s character upon discovering she helped the creature escape, Shannon drove his car and stopped outside of theater, but he forgot to put the car in park. This resulted in the car rolling down the street and it collided with a decorative pole as well as a telephone pole, damaging the poles and Shannon’s vehicle. The production team decided that take was so well done that they kept it in the film.

Doug Jones spent three hours every day getting into the costume. According to him, it was nothing compared to previous costumes he has worn in other films by Guillermo del Toro.

Director Guillermo del Toro originally wanted to shoot the film in black and white, but ultimately decided against it due to budget restraints.

Summary: In the 1960’s, a mute woman working as a janitor in a top secret lab falls for an amphibious creature that’s been held in the tank.

The Review: The most beautiful film of 2017 that comes with brilliant performances, complex story and an emotional conclusion. A fairy tale for adults is defiantly Del Toro’s trademark!
